Anti Wrinkle Face Cream Will Prolong Smooth Skin

Aging skin is part of the process of getting older, and when you were born your skin started to respond to two sets of biological processes. The first one is genetic, which means what DNA you’ve inherited from your family’s lineage and will predetermine how your face and body respond to the aging process. Secondly, external factors add tremendously to the aging process, and there is a lot you can do to bring this under control. Anti aging natural supplements are popular, as well as anti aging eye cream, wrinkle cream, and more.

You may have similar aging patterns to older generation members of your family. Look for the following hereditary characteristics such as wrinkles and tiny lines around the eyes, and furrows in the brow or forehead. Look for drooping eyelids, deep creases along the sides of the mouth and nose, loose skin around the jaw line, and a tendency to develop cellulite, a tired look, and male or female-patterned baldness. Anti aging supplements or a good anti wrinkle face cream go a long way to smoothing out these wrinkles.

If you notice these traits in your older family members, there is a good chance that you will experience at least some of them, too. It is amazing, the number of cosmetic treatments available on the market, including hair transplants, surgery, and cosmetic treatments. Regardless of what type of antiaging skin care method you choose, and if you live a healthy long life, the years always eventually catch up with you and will naturally be evident on your face. Remember to accept the aging process with grace, dignity and style. There is only so much that you can do about it, aside from the fact that anti aging supplements and other topical applications on the market will help slow the process.

Natural Hair Dye

Try henna- you’d be surprised the various shades of reds, browns, and burgundys you can get. And even better yet, henna is completely natural and can actually help strengthen your hair. Woman have been using this stuff since the days of Cleopatra and theres good reason for it!

It can actually be fun sometimes too- there are dozens or herbs, spices, and essential oils you can add to the concoction that can be great for your hair and can sometimes effect the shading of the color outcome. Henna is not just for the “Lucille Ball” kind of red! For example, rosemary essential oil and coffees are great additives for enhancing brown tones. For more golden tones you can add chamomile, black tea, or turmeric. Reds are even more easily enhanced with paprika, cloves, or beetroot powder. Though remember this is a natural alternative and cannot actually lighten hair! The outcomes is highly dependent on your original hair color. The sky is the limit- have fun experimenting!

The bottom line is this is the safest way to go for a new hair color or to hide the grays. Hair dyes these days are so filled with chemicals that can damage your hair in the long run and some research has showed that it may actually have negative effects on our health and the environment, that it is simply not worth the convenience anymore.

Liposuction – Cosmetic Surgery

Liposuction (otherwise known as lipoplasty) may be performed in an outpatient surgery center, hospital or a surgeon’s office facility. Some of the more complicated procedures require an overnight stay, but smaller procedures are typically done on an outpatient basis.

Liposuction surgery is performed by removing specific fat deposits in an attempt to reshape and area of one’s body. There are several methods for getting this done, but the basic goal is the same. It is very important to become educated on the different forms of liposuction so that you can discuss the various options with your plastic surgeon and find the procedure that best suits your needs.

There are several types of anesthesia options for liposuction procedures. Under certain circumstances the operation can be performed under local anesthesia without forcing the patient to go under. However, many patients prefer general anesthesia so they are completely asleep during the procedure. It is best to consult your plastic surgeon to determine what best fits your needs for the operation.

Recovering from liposuction takes several weeks. Immediately afterwards there will be some fluid draining involved from the incisions made during the operation. In order to best control swelling, some patients are fitted with an elastic garment to wear over the affected area for several weeks. Patients are encouraged to start walking immediately after surgery which allows many patients to get back to work as early as one week. After around four to six weeks the swelling will subside and you will look and feel like a brand new person.

Test, Yes This is a Test

As an MS victim individual, I never dreamed that I would be disabled. Who would, unless they were in to nightmares? Who would ever expect to become a burden to others, dependent on friends and loved ones for things that we all take for granted? Sure, these things do happen, but they would never happen to me. Right?

I am certain that most of us MSers share this basic feeling, regardless of gender. What I believe matters most are what we do with our lives once the reality sets in. Maybe, it doesn’t fully sink in for some time? It didn’t for me. I was going to beat this thing, bounce back, overcome the dread disease, in the same way I had always successfully overcome obstacles, by shear determinations: resolve, action, faith and “Will~Power!” This is a test.

Well, it was most frustrating to discover that my old methods of passing the tests were largely ineffective in the battle to be normal again. I had the resolve, just not the endless reservoir of energy from which I could always draw.

I would take actions, affirmative actions! Some of them impulsive and not affirmed by my physicians and professionals who have had experience with “Problem~Patients,” like me. I would become a test for them. I would even become their problem. Yeah, as if they didn’t already have enough tests of their own going on in their professional and personal lives?

OK, I would defeat this deceitful devil then with faith. If I haven’t been as close to my Devine Maker, I’ll see is I can be reunited. Heb.11:1 says, “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not yet seen.” Well, I haven’t any problem with the hope aspect, at least. And
James 2:26: “For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.” I am already into the works by my taking actions. Right? If I’m not getting the desired results, perhaps I will need to study further? Job 36:15: “Hard times and trouble are God’s way of getting our attention!”I am not really certain I like that…

Increasing my frustration was the fact that the strength, I could muster, was being increasingly consumed by mundane tasks involving movements. Simple things, like taking out the trash, were not so simple anymore. Everything, it seemed, was now a major task, an incredible object to be overcome.

At every turn, the same ugly question loomed, “Should I do it myself, or ask someone with legs that work to do it for me?” Tough test for an individual who has been independent. I suspect that this feeling of frustration has engulfed virtually every person with a debilitating disease or physical injury. Our response to this critical question is the subject of this article.

For slow learners, like myself, who resist what ~ we must come to realize ~ would have saved other people an incredible amount of frustration, this is an “Open~book” test. Question: “Should we routinely ask others to help us?” Answer: “We should ask for help.”

If our marriages and relationships survive, we learn to appreciate our partner’s commitments to us ~ in ways well beyond what we might have ever imagined that person capable of. Maybe, we might wonder, if the situations were reversed, would I have been so committed? I hope so, but really ~ I wonder ~ would I have been?

When we fail to ask our partners or others for assistance, even when we want to believe we can do it ourselves, we put even more of a burden on the very ones we don’t want to bother. Hey, they are bothered! I see it is a selfish act to cause people who care about us to worry that we might cause injury to ourselves or to others.

Perhaps, my limited energy could be better utilized by writing articles that will help others speed up their learning curves. Huh? Is this the best use of my “Will~Power?”

An Acne Herbal Hand and Footbath

March 30, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Uncategorized

In a book I read by William L. Fischer called Hidden Secrets of Super Perfect Health at Any Age, Book II, 1986, I learn how to do herbal footbaths.

In chapter 10, The F-M Circulizer System, Fischer discusses the use of an herbal footbath. After reading this chapter, I realized how herbs in a footbath could improve your skin and help you eliminate acne.

This book was written in 1986 and Fischer claims herbal footbaths have been in use overseas since 1946!

Now, you can do either a footbath or a hand bath. Once you prepare a container with hot water you can put your feet or hands into it and get the same results.

If you already have foot spa, thank your mother, sister, or whoever bought it because you’re in for a treat. If you don’t, with $20 or $30 you can get one just like I did.

When you use a heated footbath, veins in your feet start to expand. Over a period of 15-20 minute, the warm water affects your entire vascular (blood) system and you get improved blood circulation.

By adding an herbal infusion into the hot water in the footbath, minerals and other phytochemicals from the herbs enter the soles of your feet and into your blood stream.

This means that you can introduce herbal phytochemicals into your blood stream using the footbath. During your footbath, these herbal chemicals quickly circulated throughout your body and get to work neutralizing acid, killing bacteria, and improving your skin circulation.

Here is an herbal combination you can use. This herbal combination was taken and modified slightly from a book written by Daniel B. Mowrey, Ph.D., called The Scientific Validation of Herbal Medicine, 1986. Mowrey says,

“This (herbal) blend attacks external skin disorders from within, purifying the blood, carrying away waste, reinforcing the blood’s ability to ward off infectious agents.”

The herbal combination to use is,

* Dandelion root – purifies blood and improves liver function

* Yellow dock root – purifies blood, helps liver, is anti-bacterial

* Saraparilla root – has antibiotic action, promotes waste elimination through urine and sweating

* Echinacea – increases immunity and promotes skin healing

* Licorice – protects the liver so that it can detoxify the blood better

* Kelp – provide minerals and vitamins and binds heavy metal that are bad for health

* Chaparral – is anti-microbial making effective against acne.

* Fresh Garlic – cut up a few cubes of garlic and place them into the hot water. Garlic is has antibacterial properties.

Buy one ounce of each herb and mix them.

Here’s how to do the herbal hand or footbath,

* Place 2-3 tablespoons of herbal mix into 1 ½ cups of water

* Boil the water with herbs – use only a glass, porcelain, or stainless steel container

* After water starts to boil, pull the container off the stove

* Let tea sit for 15-30 minutes. The longer the tea sits the stronger the tea and its effects

* Prepare your foot spa with water

* Strain the tea to remove leaves and roots

* Poor tea and cut garlic into the foot spa

* Place your feet or hands in the hot water for 15 – 30 minutes.

Use the this footbath daily for 14-21 days in the morning for getting rid of acne.

I have been using a foot spa for many different conditions for my family and myself. I really like using the footbath. It is a convenient way to by pass your digestive system and get more nutrients into your body.

Diet And Exercise Are A Perfect Match

March 30, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

I am here to encourage you to start exercising to lower your body fat levels. When approaching your goals for a better you, every game plan needs to start with determining where you are, and where you want to end up.

The diet plan you choose should be one that you can stick to for the rest of your life, and it should be healthy for your body. If like to eat rice, pasta or bread than trying a diet that limits or removes carbohydrates will not be practical for you. By eating chicken, meats or high protein meals a low carb diet might be right for you.

A balanced diet replaces all the fuel used in the workouts. The best way is to get daily exercise and eat a balanced diet. When dieting it is obvious to eat foods that do not have a lot of fat or calories, try not to eat foods in excess. The secret to burning body fat to get to your ideal weight is you must eat and exercise right or it simply won’t happen.

Gaining weight or having body fat that is high is brought on by the following feelings, laziness, pride and denial. Any weight loss program is often accompanied by diet and exercise.

To loose weight there are no secrets, no magical pills, no magical weight loss programs it is purely done by eating right and exercising. The exercise the experts are keeping a Secret. Let’s look at one way of curbing both reasons for not following through on an exercise program and how to keep your body fat levels low.

Cardiovascular training is when you exercise your heart at a certain level of effort. Try to change your exercise routing every 10-12 weeks, the reason for this is because your body adapts to the same routine. When we talk about exercise to loose weight most people think of running, aerobics and sometimes kickboxing, usually it is an exercise that will get you heart rate up for about 35-45 minutes. It’s true, that one hour of aerobic exercise probably burns more calories than one hour of weight training. To loose weight and build a healthy routine you need to start and maintain an exercise program, having the discipline to do this everyday is the magic that everyone is talking about, once you get into a habit it will jump start you and make it easier to loose weight and reach your goal.

As we go through our daily lives you find yourself gaining weight, this is mostly caused by influences from advertising and labels on food misleading you that these types of food are fat free or low in fat. Many times these foods are the same or worse.

Many people are pushing the hoodia patch, they report it will suppress your appetite and that it works better and faster than taking the hoodia pills, or liquid. Hoodia has been become very popular and many media sources are publicizing it on networks like BBC, Today Show, Good Morning America and many others.

What is comes down to it, if you want to lose weight and feel better, eat better and exercise, it is really will power. If you really want it to happen you will find a way.

Panic Attacks? Or Am I Going Out Of My Mind?!

March 30, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment

If you think you might be experiencing panic attacks but are not sure what the heck it is that you’re going through, you’ll know for sure once you’ve read this article! If you know someone who has panic attacks, then you will love this article, because it will aid you in understanding precisely what this person is going through!

Ladies and gentlemen, this is what a panic attack feels like:

- Just before a panic attack, one starts to feel light-headed, overheated, and sweaty.

- Within a few seconds, paranoia sets in, and somehow…you feel as though everyone in the room is watching you even when they are not.

- You feel a very strong need to gulp a whole lot…for whatever reason…and your mouth is totally dry…you continue to frantically swallow air while you are getting increasingly more anxious.

- You feel helpless and insanely panicky…as if you are coming out of your own skin.

- You feel paralyzed by fear…frozen…almost unable to speak. You can’t get yourself to leave your seat or wherever you are situated, because you are too afraid.

- The time (even though only a few minutes have passed) feels like a thousand years…the minutes seem like hours.

- Sweat literally drips down underneath your arm pits, and your hands are soaked with sweat.

- Feels like you are going to have a seizure or go into some sort of convulsions…and if anyone talks to you DURING the attack, you think to yourself, “Are you out of your mind? Don’t you see that I’m having an anxiety attack???!!!!” (but that person just keeps right on talking, because they truly don’t realize you’re having the attack).

- And then you get even more paranoid, because you think that this person who’s trying to talk to you, is actually noticing your panic attack and judging you. Again, they usually don’t notice at all.

- You get more and more faint…and you wonder if you’re going to pass out…you wish to God you could run out a door…run away from your seat…but you can’t…because you’re too damn frozen from fear.

- While you’re still swallowing air, trying to avoid having some sort of convulsion, and dripping sweat…the room seems to be narrowing into a small line. Noise gets muffled…people’s voices become nothingness…and you feel out of your own body.

- Your hands (and sometimes your head) shake…or at least…it seems that they’re shaking (After I’ve had a panic attack, people have told me that they didn’t notice any shaking at all).

- You finally break free…somehow you unglued yourself from that seemingly impossible “frozen fear” state you were in…and you run to the bathroom to splash cold water on your face, under your arm pits, down your shirt, etc… etc… anything to stop this horrible feeling.

- You catch your breath too. And, of course, wherever you were having the panic attack, you feel utterly anxious about going back to that very place, because you feel traumatized about having had the panic attack at that very place.

That, my friends, is what a panic attack feels like!

Weight Loss – Necessary or Cosmetic?

March 30, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Uncategorized

Almost daily we hear people saying I must go on a diet or I need to lose a few pounds. These people are usually addicts of the slimmers’ market or are overweight and are just talking about weight loss as a means of consoling themselves, knowing that they probably will not make the effort that is necessary to achieve their “target weight”.

It seems in today’s society that weight loss is an almost constant concern, not just by the people who manufacture all sorts of slimming aids, but also the general pubic who seem that much more aware of the need to keep the calories down.

There are probably a hundred and one ways that retailers will tell you is the best method to make those stubborn inches reduce. However, common sense says that the only real way to keep weight down (that’s if you haven’t already lost it) is regular exercise and sensible eating. Personal opinion doesn’t enter into it. Our GPs have been telling us for years about these two facts but why do we consistently choose to ignore them? Does it sound too difficult?

Fact number one, as we get older – and the “lower end” of this scale has dropped to 40 years of age – probably because of lack of care, bad lifestyle management, bad eating, the only exercise taken is a walk to the car, one in four people are pretty well sure to have developed Type 2 diabetes. Obesity is the main cause of this condition. The side effects being high blood pressure, loss of circulation, usually in the feet, kidney problems, eye problems, etc, etc. It will eventually catch up with you. Promise!

Remember one in four: so if you’re sitting on a 60 seater bus, chances are 15 people could have diabetes – yes 25 per cent!

So, what’s the cure for diabetes. Answer. Nothing! On the one hand, we can ignore it, keep stacking the weight on, keep eating rubbish, let the blood pressure rise, start losing our eyesight, have problems with the waterworks. Then prematurely die!!

There is an alternative though, which involves weight loss. Many, many diabetics take responsibility for their condition – and that includes weight loss. They exercise regularly, eat plenty of low-fat food, plenty of pulses, as much diet drink as they like and, most importantly, walk for 30 minutes a day at least three times a week.

Weight loss is a critical issue in the society we live in today. With foods mass produced, it is up to us to keep ourselves in good condition. That means losing weight. It isn’t really that difficult. We hear a lot from the more famous weight loss companies about their products giving you the ability to lose more weight than their rivals. But, commonsense, a visit to the library to see what a diabetic eats – which is always a good guide. Write yourself a little chart with your regime and away you go.

You will be surprised just how quickly you will get into shape. And, more importantly, it will be fun to do and you will certainly reap the benefit in the long run, especially if you are getting on in years.

Turn Hair Loss Into Healthy Hair Naturally

March 29, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Filed under: Uncategorized

One study that was done in Australia showed the prevalence of mid-frontal hair loss increases as people age and affects 57% of women and 73.5% of men aged 80 years and over. The normal cycle of typical hair growth lasts from two to six years. A bit of trivia- the word bald derives from the English word balde, which means white or pale, or the Celtic word – ball, which means a white patch or blaze, as on a horse’s head.

Some fungal infections of the scalp can cause hair loss in children which is easily treated with anti-fungal medicines. In the past it was believed that baldness was inherited from the maternal grandfather; while there is some basis for this belief, both parents contribute to their offspring’s likelihood of hair loss. Since hair loss may be an early sign of a disease, it is important to find the cause so it can be treated properly and fast.

Hair loss may occur as part of an underlying disease, like lupus or diabetes and hypothyroidism can cause hair loss, especially thinning of the outer third of the eyebrows. Traumas due to chemotherapy, childbirth, major surgery, poisoning, and severe stress may cause a condition known as telogen effluvium.

Alopecia areata is an autoimmune disorder also known as “spot baldness” that can result in hair loss ranging from just one area on the body to every hair on the entire body. If a medicine is causing your loss, your doctor may be able to prescribe a different medicine or you may find you really don’t need the medicine after all. Poor digestion, parasites and nutrient deficiencies like an iron or biotin deficiency shouldn’t be overlooked as possible causes.

Minoxidil is a drug that is used daily to prevent hair loss but may create heart problems; the hair it grows is very fine, only on the top of the head and may fall out again soon after the drug is discontinued. There are hundreds of hair loss products on the market today used as remedies and treatments. There are many natural home remedies and all sorts of recipes for making mixtures to apply topically to the scalp.

Surgery is another method of reversing hair loss and baldness, although it is considered an extreme measure. Topical application of Ketoconazole, which is both an anti-fungal and a potent 5-alpha reductase inhibitor, is often used as a supplement to other medical approaches. Minoxidil is available without a prescription and is for topical application only, but one needs to consider the side effects.

Products for hair loss include: shampoos, shampoos with conditioners, conditioners, lotions, creams, concealers, thinning hair shampoos, laser combs, laser brushes, the Lasertron Hair Growth Brush, herbal-based products, chemical- based pills or tablets, Nizoral shampoo, Neutrogena T-Gel, and many others. Studies done on subjects of various adult ages suggests that weight training alone may increase testosterone in studies where aerobic exercise only was compared to either weight training or a moderately sedentary life. Propecia (Finasteride) and Minoxidil (Rogaine in the U.S and elsewhere as Regaine) are drugs that have reported having shown some success in partially reversing loss but one needs to consider the negative side effects and long term usage.

Massage the scalp nightly with an oil mixture made of one part rosemary oil and two parts almond oil. Make sure to test all remedies on a small area first and check with your doctor or skin doctor before trying any natural home remedy if it includes any irritating ingredients. You can try lying on a slant board with head down for 15 minutes a day, but clear it with your doctor first.

The Russian cure with honey and vodka remedy – combine one tablespoon honey with one jigger of vodka and the juice of a medium-size onion; rub mixture into the scalp every night, cover with a cap and shampoo in the morning. Polygonum Multiflorum is a traditional Chinese cure for hair loss; whether the plant itself is useful, the general safety and quality control of herbs imported from China can be very questionable these days. Vodka and cayenne remedy for hair loss – mix one jigger of vodka with a 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (test on skin first for sensitivity) and rub it on the scalp; blood rushes to the hair follicles stimulated by the vodka and cayenne pepper – but be careful if you try it.

The olive oil and rosemary remedy for hair loss – use equal amounts of olive oil and oil of rosemary; combine them in a bottle, shake vigorously, massage into the scalp, put on a cap, go to bed and shampoo in the morning. The raw onion remedy – take half a raw onion and massage the scalp with it; cover the head overnight, shampoo and rinse in the morning. Resveratrol, from the skin of grapes, is a lipase inhibitor and by decreasing the body’s ability to absorb fat through the intestine walls, it reduces the total fat and calorie content of a person’s diet.

Circulation to the scalp is of utmost importance. Saw Palmetto is an herbal DHT inhibitor often claimed to be cheaper and have far fewer side effects than finasteride and dutasteride; unlike other 5alpha-reductase inhibitors, saw palmetto induces its effects without interfering with the cellular capacity to secrete protein specific antigen (PSA). Apple cider vinegar used as a hair rinse may also stimulate hair growth.

Keep in mind that hair loss should be continually treated, preferably naturally however, even after the loss stops. Sometimes it will indicate a disease or condition that hadn’t been recognized or diagnosed before. If you experience any form of hair loss that causes you concern, make an appointment with your doctor or dermatologist to discuss the treatment options available to you for your particular condition.

Nature Healing Method for Bronchitis

In acute cases of bronchitis, the patient should fast on orange juice and water till the acute symptoms subside. The procedure is to take the juice of an orange in a glass of warm water every two hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thereafter, the patient should adopt an all-fruit diet for two or three days.

In case of chronic bronchitis, the patient can begin with an all-fruit diet for five to seven days, taking each day three meals of fresh juicy fruits. After the all-fruit diet, the patient should follow a well-balanced diet of seeds, nuts and grains, vegetables and fruits.

For drinks, unsweetened lemon water or cold or hot plain water may betaken.

The patient should avoid meats, sugar, tea, coffee, condiments, pickles, refined and processed foods, soft-drinks, candies, ice-cream and products made from sugar and white flour.

One of the most effective remedy for bronchitis is the use of turmeric powder. A teaspoonful of
this powder should be administered with a glass of milk two or three times daily. It acts best
when taken on an empty stomach.

Another effective remedy for bronchitis is a mixture of dried ginger powder, pepper and long
pepper taken in equal quantities three times a day. It may be licked with honey or infused with
one’s daily tea. The powder of these three ingredients have antipyretic qualities and are effective
in dealing with fever accompanied by bronchitis. They also tone up the metabolism of the
patient.

The onion has been used as a food remedy for centuries in bronchitis. It is said to possess
expectorant properties. It liquefies phelgm and prevents its further formation. One teaspoon of
raw onion juice, the first thing in the morning will be highly beneficial in such cases.

A simple hot poultice of linseed should be applied over the front and back of the chest. It will
greatly relieve pain. Poultices act by diluting the vessels of the surface and thereby reducing the
blood pressure. The heat of the poultics acts as a cardiac stimulant. A poultics should be applied
neatly and carefully and should be often renewed, so that it does not hamper respiration.

Turpentine may be rubbed over the chest with fomentation for the same object.

A hot Epsom-salts bath every night or every other night will be highly beneficial during the acute
stages of the attack. This bath is prepared by dissolving three lbs. of Epsom-salts to 60 litres of
water having a temperature of 100 o F. The patient should remain immersed in the bath for
about 20 minutes. In case of chronic bronchitis, this bath may be taken twice a week. Hot towels
wrung out and applied over the upper chest are also helpful. After applying three hot towels in
turn for two or three minutes each, one should always finish off with a cold towel. A cold pack
should also be applied to the upper chest several times daily in acute conditions. The procedure
is to wring out some linen material in cold water, wrap two or three times round the affected part
and cover it with some flannel. The pack can remain for about an hour at a time.

Fresh air and outdoor exercises are also essential to the treatment of bronchitis and the patient
should take a good walk everyday. He should also perform yogic kriyas such as jalneti and
vamandhouti and yogic asanas such as ekpaduttansana, yogamudra, bhujangasana,
shalabhasana, padmasana and shavasana. Simple pranayamas like kapalbhatti,
anuloma-viloma, ujjai and bhramari are also highly beneficial.
