Health And Wellness Following The Baby Boomers
If you are a “Baby Boomer”, you have noticed that your health may be a bit different than in your younger years. I am not a “B-Boomer”, but I am right behind you! I am in my 30’s and notice things don’t sit the way they did when I was in my 20’s! Ah, The good ol’ days! When gravity didn’t affect me as much, and I could eat pizza without seeing it appear quickly on my legs and belly, as well as behind me. But such is this time of our life. So, what are we to do? What are the things that affect us the most. We are all different, some more fit than others, some more stressed , and some, unfortunately, with greater physical needs. Some of us, if not most, are affected by aches and pains of one kind or another.
Joint pain, allergies, weight challenges, or just feeling stressed and run down from poor diet. I take that back, not “just stressed”. That is the main cause of illness today. Stress can change your health on a cellular level. Check the medical journals, and make your own assessments. The fact remains, stress is a major problem today with all age groups, but we have the “baby boomers ” to thank for being a massive part of those studies. The one’s affected most by stress, pollution, poor diet, and the “at the time” undiscovered risks involved. Food additives, smoking, and other things we only learned can be damaging AFTER it began affecting them. But now is the time to counteract the things that damage us.
Should one bother to start taking care of themselves now? Absolutely! How? There are many ways. If you are bothered by your weight, you should definitely start some physical activity, but only after your doctor gives you the green light ! Some people may have underlying physical limitations they may not be aware of ! When I worked in a popular vitamin and supplement shop, a woman entered and asked for weight loss pills, a.k.a. “fat burners”. I asked her if she had any heart problems in her family history, and she replied, “Yes, I got the problem from these pills, here…” as she pointed to a top selling “thermogenic” or “fat burning” pill. She had taken them without regard that she had a history of heart problems, and was STILL wanting to take a fat burning pill!! Walking and 10 glasses of water a day is still the best way to start raising your metabolism. Please, before you run down to your local health, or vitamin shop, check with your doctor, ask what he thinks about the supplements you wish to use, and check with the company that produces them. If you have a family history of serious, or potentially serious medical problems, you need to cover your bases, and be informed. Ask any relatives if your grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc., have any hereditary medical problems. Some physical traits, and underlying problems can go back several generations, so use great caution.
The same goes for physical exercise! I thought I was Wonder Woman when I was 29, after a large weight gain, and decided to get serious fast! Too serious, and too fast! I compressed 2 disks while failing to stretch and warm up. I was also doing the exercises “incorrectly”. It took me 3 years to recover. Some aren’t as lucky. Some damage, that takes only a split second to happen, can last a lifetime. Painfully limiting you for good.Take 15 minutes or more to stretch properly, then start your exercising. You have a plethora of references to choose from on correct exercise techniques these days! Please, use them! The ideal is a well trained , certified personal trainer. There are affordable health clubs in most cities, that offer a few FREE sessions with one of their certified trainers, to get you on the right track. The alternative is studying exercises yourself. Get a reputable magazine on fitness. There are quite a few, and I enjoy several. The tips are great, and most can even be looked up online. Do a Google search, or Yahoo!, and see what comes up.
What vitamins and supplements should you use? What is the best? There are several good brands available, mostly available at health food stores. The best ones are the “natural vitamins”. The others are synthetic, and most of those can’t be absorbed into the body. You should take your vitamins and herbal supplements with food, and plenty of water for your body to absorb them properly. Herbal supplements and vitamins taken on an empty stomach can just wash right through your system, not being absorbed the way they should be! Never take vitamin C or ZINC on an empty stomach. It can severely upset your stomach, and cause severe nausea or vomiting.
When I worked in a supplement and vitamin shop, people always complained about the prices. They’d say,”I don’t want to pay so much just for vitamins, and supplements! It’s too much!” Is it? Really? Most people will spend ridiculous amounts of money on things that won’t benefit their body or mind , improve their health, or relieve pain, but will spend for anything else. Ironic, isn’t it? A great pair of heels on sale for $85, that will hurt your feet after nearly 1/2 an hour of walking in them, or cool socks for the top of your golf clubs…is that worth more than your health? I didn’t think so. Well, unless you are more committed to shoes or golf clubs, of course. But when it comes to your health, you should be taking care of it. Most people don’t appreciate it, until it starts to deteriorate. You think I thought twice about my lower back health until I injured it? Not really. Did I think about my great energy levels until they started depleting? Nope ! We all do now, don’t we! The right diet and exercise will always help, and the supplements you need are based on what your body tells you.
First, doctor approving of course, a good multi-vitamin. I choose to use Lifepak Nano, by Pharmanex. It uses “nano technology” to deliver what your body needs on a molecular level. Also, Essential Fatty Acids, like Marine Omega. Why? It is a natural anti-inflammatory and benefits EVERY part of the body. Everything! Skin, hair, organs, blood vessels, joints, brain function…all of it! Why do you think your mom or grandmother chased you around the house with that cod liver oil on a spoon?! Ask around, it was a common practice in the early part of the 20th century. My mom tells me about her mother doing it her in Ireland. She tried that with my brother and me a few times, but we could run faster than she could. It is one of the best things you can put in your body. Most seafood is so high in mercury levels, we can only eat it once or twice a week safely.
That is why this is a key in your supplemental health. After those two are acquired into your health regimen, you must ask yourself, ” What else would be helpful to my health?” Joint pain? There are exceptional joint formula products available, such as Pharmanex Cartilage Formula. Menopause, or hormonal imbalances? Try Estera. There are Phase I for childbearing years helping maintain healthy hormone levels, and mood balance when usually needed. It does contain Chasteberry, which is a key ingredient, and can counter-act the birth control pill. I used Chasteberry for the first time when I suffered from PMS, and was trying to conceive my second child. It helped for both those reasons. I was less moody, and soon pregnant! I have recommended it several times to couples trying to conceive, who came to the vitamin and supplement store where I worked, and they returned to me grateful, and expecting. I am thankful for that. Phase II is for “perimenopausal years”, and helps with mild mood swings, hot flashes, and occasional anxiousness. Phase III is the maintenance formula for “postmenopausal years”. Digestive health, Vein health, Eye Formula, and Immune System support products are also available.
If extra weight is an issue, I recommend TRA and HTP complex. I use them in my weight loss regimen, and appreciate their “stimulant free” quality. HTP complex balances serotonin levels, which helps you feel positive while losing weight. The TRA complex is a “natural thermogenic” product, helping the body burn fat more effectively when exercising. There are other weight loss products available, as well, all working to help achieve a desired goal. There are great products available for energy levels, such as Energy Formula, and CordyMax Cs-4, for vitality and stamina, while cutting down on fatigue.
Other products available cover a wide range of personal needs from cellular protection, anxiety, bone health, cardiovascular health, and much more. There is even a great product that helps provide your body with antioxidants it needs, and doesn’t usually get, due to poor food quality. It is the main reason for supplemental health needs. The soil isn’t as plentiful with the minerals the body needs, and therefore what comes from it is lacking in vitamins and minerals. Combine that with food that is irradiated, and what is left for the body to absorb? Mostly empty substance. G3 is derived from the “Gac” fruit found in Southern Asia. Healthy eating habits, high antioxidants from naturally rich fruits and vegetables, help contribute to the well known longer lifespan found in Asia. G3 has an abundance of antioxidants, and great health benefits missing from our everyday fruits and vegetables.
And in addition to your new physical outlook, please keep in mind, the “stress factor”. Stress is serious, and can damage you body, mind and spirit. I highly recommend taking the time to “re-create yourself”. It’s what recreation means to do. If you take time to rest, enjoy a hobby, or a walk, read, or create something -if you’ve tried it before or not, it would do your mind a world of good. Everyone needs down time. Time to enjoy existing, on a peaceful, creative level. Play with your dog, take a pottery or painting class, or just walk in the park. Find the time to focus on what makes you feel good just being alive. Visualize it, and write it down.Take the time to be thankful for what you have and love in life. A positive outlook, and mental attitude will carry you a long way. Also take time to pray or meditate, or just be still in a quiet place, and feel joy for all your good qualities. Learn to appreciate yourself, as well as others. I greatly recommend checking out books of self improvement at your local book store. They have great books on positive thinking, and the benefits it has on our health. I want you to feel awesome!

Bird Flu: Diagnosis
Central to the problem of dealing with bird flu is diagnosis. A number of upper respiratory infections have similar symptoms—at least at the onset of the illness, including the common cold, seasonal influenza, and bird flu. Seasonal flu and bird flu have almost identical symptoms—including fever, cough, malaise (feeling unwell), nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. This is, needless to say, a gigantic problem in accurately diagnosing bird flu—which is critical to beginning appropriate treatment as well as initiating infection control procedures and public health measures.
Currently, accurate testing for bird flu and other vial infections that can cause similar symptoms is difficult and requires specialized testing. This testing is time consuming and only available in specialized reference laboratories, which are few and far between. Fortunately, this may change in the near future.
According to Richard Janeczko, Ph.D., executive vice-president and chief scientific officer, Tm Bioscience, located In Toronto, Canada, is feverishly working to complete the final stage of development of an amazing test—not only for bird flu, but for more than 15 other viral infections (including severe acute respiratory syndrome or SARS), many of which can mimic the symptoms of bird flu (personal communication). (Tm Bioscience is a DNA-based diagnostics company developing a suite of genetic tests. Tm Bioscience’s product pipeline includes tests for genetic disorders, drug metabolism, and infectious diseases. Additional information about Tm Bioscience can be found at tmbioscience.com.)
The test, called the Multiplexed Respiratory Test, discriminates influenza A from influenza B and identifies the H5-subtype of influenza A (bird flu is “H5N1”) from all other H subtypes. In addition, it can identify almost all the other common—and some uncommon—viruses that cause influenza-like illnesses. This is extremely important in managing patients, communities and economic issues. Other tests have lower clinical sensitivities and specificities which can lead to both false positives and false negatives.
By incorrectly identifying an outbreak as due to H5N1, patients could be treated with anti-virals unnecessarily (thus raising the chances of selecting for drug-resistant strains), unneeded vaccination programs in asymptomatic individuals could be initiated, and damage to local and national economies—through such measures as culling of commercial poultry operations—could occur. Conversely a false-negative test result could lead to catastrophic outcomes, including a pandemic.
The assay utilizes swab specimens taken from the nose and takes less than 5 hours to perform. It was developed for use as a diagnostic tool and for infection control in hospitals. The assay has been slated for expedited review by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and TM Bioscience is hoping to have an FDA-cleared test available by the end of January 2006. If this assay delivers what it claims, it will have huge applicability on a global basis and save many lives.

Autoimmune Progesterone Eczema Related To Menstrual Cycles
Because some types of eczema are triggered by a woman’s menstrual cycle, progesterone is sometimes part of the treatment plan. Many women complain of worsening acne and water retention during the menstrual cycle, but a few actually have autoimmune progesterone dermatitis (APD) a condition in which the menstrual cycle is associated with an number of skin conditions such as urticaria, eczema and others.
In affected women, the flare-ups typically occur three to ten days prior to the menstrual flow and they generally resolve two days after menstruation begins. Women with irregular menses may not have a correlation that is this clear and that can make autoimmune progesterone eczema more difficult to diagnose.
Because of the association between the menstrual cycle and eczema, progesterone creams and supplements are often used to treat the condition. Most women prefer to use supplements and creams that contain natural forms of progesterone. The amount and type of progesterone may vary from woman to woman. The regimen is closely associated with a woman’s monthly hormonal changes.
In addition to hormonal changes, food allergies can play a big role in eczema. Women who suffer from autoimmune progesterone eczema should be very aware of foods that aggravate their condition and avoid those foods altogether two weeks before menstrual flow begins.
Women who suffer from this skin condition should be extremely diligent about keeping the skin moisturized, especially in the week preceding their period. Frequent moisturizing locks in the skin’s own moisture to prevent dryness and cracking. One of the best ways to lock in moisture is to apply moisturizers immediately after bathing. It is also important to avoid irritating the skin by using harsh soaps or body sponges.
Irritants that can aggravate eczema include soaps, bubble baths, perfumes, cosmetic, laundry detergents, household cleaners and certain types of jewelry. Avoid personal care products that contain alcohol. Wash clothes only in hypoallergenic detergents and send them through the rinse cycle twice. Women with autoimmune progesterone eczema should wear clothes made from 100 percent cotton with no synthetic fibers. Bed linens should also be made from 100 percent cotton.
Women who are taking estrogen supplements for menopause symptoms should talk with their physicians before using natural or synthetic progesterone. Progesterone creams may increase the sensitivity of your skin to estrogen receptors. If you are taking progestin, such as Provera, you should stop using it immediately when you begin using progesterone cream. Many types of hormone replacement therapy, especially prescription strength medications, may interact adversely with progesterone.
A qualified holistic practitioner can help you decide if progesterone is the best method for treating your eczema. Autoimmune progesterone eczema has been treated successfully with natural products for many years.

What the Diet Industry Won’t Tell You–6 Secrets Revealed
I am not a diet and fitness guru or an obesity expert. I’m just a normal person who was where you are today, overweight and hating it. Two years ago I lost weight without throwing money into the multi-billion dollar diet industry, and you can too. This booklet was written to show you how.
The are six principles upon which successful weight loss is based. These principles are, in order of importance: SELF-ESTEEM, COMMITMENT, MOVEMENT, PROPORTION, and HYDRATION. Consistent application of these principles will result in lasting weight loss and better health. Before I outline just how you can apply these principles in your life, I would like to explore what I feel are some common misconceptions surrounding the attainment of lasting weight loss.
Misconception #1–Being overweight is hereditary, and therefore nothing can be done to help the obese. I feel very strongly about this particular misconception, which I believe was created to bolster the research efforts of so-called obesity experts. First of all let me say that some people, though very few, are born with conditions that make them obese. But for the majority of us, even if both of our parents were fat, obesity is not hereditary. If a child grows up in a household that does not participate in regular and vigorous physical activity, where high-fat, marginally nutritious food is served, and over -eating is the rule, that child will become obese. If a child inherits anything, it inherits bad habits.
Misconception #2–There are short cuts to lasting weight loss. The high incidences of yo-yo dieting tell another story. Let’s say you go on a liquid diet and quickly drop 10 pounds or so. Yes, this is a short cut, but will it last? Not likely. Most people who lose weight this way gain it all back–and then some–almost as quickly as they lost it. Remember Oprah? Why doesn’t this short cut work? Simple: the dieters never un-learned the unhealthy habits that caused them to gain weight. There are no short cuts to lasting weight loss, period. If you want to lose weight and keep it off, you must make lifestyle changes and adhere to them.
Misconception #3–I can achieve lasting weight loss without exercise. I’m sorry, this just isn’t true. This is a lesson I learned the hard way. Dieting alone will cause you to drop pounds, but it also works against you by teaching your body to get by on less food, therby slowing down your metabolism or calorie burning capability. This is why if you don’t exercise to rev up your metabolism, eating in a normal healthy way will cause you to gain weight. Regular vigorous exercise, 20-30 minutes, 4-5 days per week for beginners, combined with sensible eating, is the only way to achieve lasting weight loss.
Now that we have dispelled three of the most common dieting misconceptions, we can concentrate on how to apply the six principals that will help us achieve and maintain weight loss:
1) SELF-ESTEEM. You may have heard the saying, “it’s not what you’re eating but what’s eating you.” Many overweight people suffer from low self-esteem, and sometimes the low self-esteem precedes the weight problem. The latter applied to me. Shy, lonely and lacking confidence, I turned to food for comfort and soon went from a svelte size 7 to a size 16, which made me even more unhappy. When I’d finally had enough of being teased and miserable, I decided it was time to change. I didn’t decide to lose weight to look good in a party dress or to please my boyfriend, but because I wanted to. I decided that I was important enough to take care of. My decision was a demonstration of self-esteem. If you don’t have self-esteem, if you don’t feel worthy of love and acceptance, you will never change. Motivation for weight loss or anything must come from within. So, before you even think about weight loss, do some work on your ego. Make a list of things you have to be thankful for. Make a list of your good points and talents. Tell yourself that you are an important human being and you deserve to be treated with dignity, whatever your size. Most importantly, do not compare yourself with other people. Everyone is unique, with different talents and inheritances. Don’t become obsessed with obtaining what someone else has, rather learn to recognize and develop those talents and characteristics that are unique to you. Lastly, reach out to other people. Treat people how you would like to be treated. Look out for volunteer opportunities in your community. Sharing your gifts with others is a wonderful way to make them feel good, and make you feel good about yourself.
Note: some of us may have problems and scars that are so deep we may need professional assistance. If you develop an obsession with food that interferes with your life, or have thoughts of harming yourself or others, seek help immediately from a mental health practitioner.
2) COMMITMENT. Stick-to-it-iveness is the cornerstone of any weight loss regime. Some people call it discipline or will power. But what if you fall off the wagon? Well, that is the real test of commitment. If for whatever reason, you do fall off the wagon, don’t worry. You gain nothing by agonizing over a skipped workout or an extra cookie. Instead, concentrate on how you will get right back on that wagon once you have fallen off. Persevere and you will triumph, I promise you. Remember that keeping the weight off is a lifetime commitment. Don’t turn it into a lifetime of guilt and recriminations.
3) MOVEMENT. Exercise is absolutely essential to maintain weight loss, and there are no two ways about it. It revs up your metabolism so you can efficiently burn calories, and it helps you feel good about yourself and look great. Establishing exercise as a habit will be difficult at first. I still struggle with the lazies. But consider for a moment all the benefits of exercise, such as: lowered cholesterol and blood pressure; the prevention of diabetes and greater resistance to common illnesses; the slowing down of the aging process and a better sex life. If these benefits don’t motivate you, I don’t know what will! Exercise should be fun, not a chore. Put it at the top of your to do list and pick an activity you will enjoy. Walking is wonderful for beginners. It costs nothing and you have almost zero chance of getting injured. If you’re not sure what to do, visit a local gym or Y, where they have professionals who can help you select an appropriate exercise. If you’re over 40 or have a history of being sedentary, make sure to see a physician before starting any exercise program.
Here are some tips to help you stick to your exercise program: 1) enlist the help of a friend who regularly exercises, 2) join an exercise class (be sure that it is convenient and close to work or home), and 3) make exercise a priority by working out at the same time of day every time. In my own experience I have found morning workouts to be the best. If you can adhere to an exercise regime for 90 days, congratulations! You will have established regular exercise as a lifelong habit.
4) PROPORTION. To maintain weight loss, how much you eat is just as important as what you eat. By following sensible portion sizes you won’t have to count calories, and you won’t overeat. Before I began my weight loss odyssey, I saw a registered dietitian or nutritionist. You can find one at your doctor’s office, in private practice, or at your local hospital. Nutritionists are trained to design special diets for people with certain conditions, as well as those seeking to lose weight. A nutritionist will teach you how to eat properly, and how much to eat, in just a few visits. Best of all, the nutritionist will charge you considerably less than the multi-billion dollar diet industry with its powders, pills and pre-packaged foods. Most insurance plans cover visits to nutritionists, usually at 50%. Ask your doctor for a recommendation.
5) SUBSTITUTION. If you love junk food, like I do, you are no doubt loath to give it up. The good news is that you don’t have to. For every high-cal food there is an equally good tasting low-cal food. How can you find great tasting low fat snack foods? By reading the food labels at the grocery store. For instance, if you love chocolate bars try a York Peppermint Patty. One patty has four grams of fat as compared to the typical candy bar which has—hold on to your hat–14 grams! Instead of potato chips try popcorn or pretzels, which are very low in fat. Can’t live without cookies? Then reach for snack wells, fig newtons, gingersnaps or nilla wafers. Got a love affair with hamburgers, pizza and tacos? Make them at home, substituting ground turkey for beef, and skim cheese for regular. You may be surprised to know that you can oven fry your French-fried potatoes and buy non-fat refried beans for your taco. The most important substitution you can make is to throw out high fat dairy products and replace them with skim. You can also get non-fat margarine, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Try these substitutions. Most taste just like the real thing, others take getting used-to, but the savings in calories and fat are significant.
6) HYDRATION. Not drinking enough water can also be harmful to us. Any number of people are walking around almost dehydrated. Drinking a lot of water in and of itself won’t help you lose weight. However, many of us mistake feelings of thirst for hunger, so staying properly hydrated can prevent overeating, which often leads to obesity. The other great thing about water is it helps you look great by keeping your skin soft and pliable.
So there you have it. Six principles for lasting weight loss. No bells, no whistles, no fan fare, but most of all no powders, pills, or pre-packaged food. Just good old fashioned common sense. The insanity stops with you. Take care.

Ignore Your Good Health And It Will Go Away
In this day and age with vast amounts of information available online and off line, are you still relying on your doctor to make your health decisions? Or are you simply ignoring your declining health, accepting it as part of life?
I am about to let you in on a well kept secret. Getting sick is not normal and should not be expected! You don’t have to have a cold every winter. The ‘flu season’ does not have to affect you. You don’t have to accept declining health as part of getting older. These are lies that the manufactures of drugs want you to believe so they can stay in business.
Eating a decent diet, getting a little exercise, keeping up on your vitamins and using herbal treatments are all you should ever need. Echinacea, garlic and onion are all great immune system boosters. If your immune system is strong you can be in a room full of sneezing first graders and never get a cold.
Papaya will get rid of the worst stomach ache in a matter of seconds. Potassium will relieve your aching legs. Calcium taken daily will eliminate menstrual cramps. Your IBS is probably a combination of colon congestion and systemic yeast. A good colon cleansing herbal treatment and some acidophilus will end your ibs for good.
These are all readily available, very inexpensive and actually good for you.
There was a time when doctors were the only people who knew anything about medicine, medical procedures, how our bodies work and so on. Those days have long since past.
We now have available to us, all the information we need to make our own health decisions. Alternative herbal remedies are abundant. Health and fitness information is plentiful.
Are you letting the person who sees you for ten minutes once a year make your health choices? Who knows your body better than you? Who cares more about you?
Let’s look at a quick scenario:
You are having a health problem. You go to your doctor and tell him or her how you feel. According to the medical journals, most other people who had similar symptoms found some relief by using a particular drug. This is what your doctor decides will be best for you. He writes you a prescription and tells you if you aren’t feeling better in two weeks come back and see him again. Do you smell Guinea pig?
Wouldn’t you be better off looking into the situation before hand? Find out what other people are doing to get relief for your same, exact symptoms. If you think you can handle the problem without medical intervention, do it. If you feel better letting some stranger make your life decisions, at least you will go to the doctor with more information than a handful of general symptoms.
Now when he decides you need a particular drug you might be able to say, “Well, I heard about this alternative treatment. What do you think about it?” If your doctor is so closed minded that he will not even consider alternative or herbal treatments, you really need to find a new doctor. Yours is only looking for a paycheck.
I am not suggesting you never go to your doctor again. Some things can’t be done at home. Lab tests and bone setting, for instance, do require a medical professional. I am saying there are better ways to handle your health than packing your body full of chemicals and hoping for the best.
You are not ‘most people’ and ‘similar symptoms’ could be many different things. Do the research and find out the truth about your health. If your situation is not life threatening, maybe you are willing to try something different. It is highly possible a little common sense and a good herbal remedy will solve your problem with no side effects at all.
Sometimes constipation is just constipation and a nice cup of senna tea will take care of it. It certainly can’t hurt to try.
Isn’t it time for you to get healthy and stay that way? It can be done. All you need is the right information and some occasional natural remedies. So make a decision today that you are going to start taking care of you. Start researching your health. Get well and stay well.

How To Enlarge Your Penis Naturally – Top Methods To Enlarge Your Penis Naturally PT. 1
Rest assured, if you’re wondering how to enlarge your penis naturally, there are safe, affordable, medically approved methods that work. The trick is finding out what works while avoiding the potentially harmful scams. Avoid surgery, avoid penis pumps, avoid weight hanging, and stick with the methods listed below.
#1 Penis Extenders
Penis extenders are the safest, quickest way to achieve permanent gains in both length and girth. Extenders work by exerting a consistent, constant traction on the penis. After a certain amount of time, the cells in the penis begin to “split” and then reform stronger, bigger, and thicker. The process is not unlike that of weight lifting in that the muscles are damaged during the workout and then become stronger and bigger as they repair themselves.
With the best extenders, it’s not uncommon to hear men reporting gains of up to three inches in length and two inches in girth at the end of the first six months. Just think about what those kinds of gains – even half of those gains – could mean for you and for your self-confidence.
Modern extender systems are quickly gaining acceptance across the world, with doctors in several countries prescribing them to patients without hesitation.
#2 Penis Exercise Programs
Penis exercises work on the same principle as extenders: constant traction to encourage growth. You use a series of exercises, manually stretching your penis with your hand rather than attaching an extender. Exercise routines generally take anywhere from ten minutes to a half-hour to complete.
Results don’t come quite as fast as they do with penis extenders, but the cost is significantly less, and the end results are just as permanent.
Exercises carry minimal risk, as you’re always in control of how much tension is being applied during the exercise – if it begins to hurt or you feel as though something isn’t right, you can back off. Many programs also boast doctor endorsement and the best one is currently undergoing an independent clinical trial to prove its effectiveness.
Bottom Line
So, can you enlarge your penis naturally? Yes, and penis extenders and penis exercise programs offer you the best possible chance at accomplishing your goals. The third and fourth best methods will be looked at in PT. 2 of this article.
What’s real penis enlargement worth to you? Would it increase your self-confidence, your feeling of self-worth? Would you feel more comfortable around women? Think about it. And know that real, natural penis enlargement is now a valid option that you can make use of.

The Horizon treadmill company are probably best known for producing a good treadmill package that is easily affordable by even those would-be exercisers on a tight budget. With a range of features that you might expect to see on higher priced fitness equipment, a Horizon treadmill offers you a great treadmill workout without breaking the bank to achieve it.
The Horizon treadmill is available in a range of models, with price tags that range from well under a thousand dollars right up to the two thousand dollar mark. Consumers who have enjoyed the budget end of the Horizon treadmill range might think about investing in a higher spec model, to try to match their treadmill workout to their ever improving fitness levels, but reviewers would advise against such a switch – the Horizon treadmill is a favorite in the budget category, but treadmill ratings suggest that if you are looking to spend a little more to achieve the treadmill workout you want then another choice might be more appropriate. Though the features offered on the lower price Horizon treadmill type are second to none for a budget treadmill, the experts say that the improvements you might expect to find on a more expensive Horizon treadmill simply aren’t up to scratch.
So what do you get with a Horizon treadmill? A range of features, including an easy fold system, shock absorption technology and a fan to help keep you cool while you avail of one of the pre-programmed or customizable treadmill workouts the Horizon line have to offer. But as reviewers are quick to point out, it is not the features included in the Horizon treadmill that are under scrutiny – these are almost uniformly agreed to offer a great treadmill workout to anyone who purchases a Horizon. Rather it is the possibility of what might be sacrificed in the Horizon treadmill to offer these features at a budget price, namely the quality of the Horizon parts and the long-term durability of the treadmill as a whole.
The upside to this criticism of the reliability of the treadmill workout offered by a Horizon machine is that consumer reviews rate the customer service offered by the Horizon team as exemplary. Speedy and courteous, it seems that dealing with any flaw in the Horizon treadmill is not as fraction as painful as consumers frequently report their dealings with other treadmill manufacturers.
So if you are looking for a budget treadmill workout with all the trimmings, then a Horizon treadmill might just be the way for you to go. But if you want to upgrade down the line, choose another treadmill brand.

Which Are The Best Home Remedies For Poison Ivy
There now appears to be more poison ivy around than ever before, which by scientist has been put down to global warming, this means that a lot of us are going to be spending the summer itching like crazy.
So what, rather than messing about with trips to the local pharmacy, can you do. There are several home remedies for poison ivy that will be lying around somewhere in your household here are a few.
Baking Soda – This treatment has also become a classic homemade cure. Simply mix 3 teaspoons of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of water until a thick paste forms. Apply to the rash and let dry. You could also take a baking soda bath.
Banana Peel – Touted by many as a homemade miracle cure, rubbing the inside of a banana peel on the rash seems to bring instant relief.
Oatmeal – Just boil up the oatmeal in water as you normal. Let it cool and then apply to the effected area. It will harden as it dries. Most sufferers swear by this treatment.
Vinegar – Just sprinkle liberally on rash or blisters for instant relief from itch. White distilled vinegar seems to work best.
Washing up liquid – Washing liquid’s anti-grease agents make it a common-sense remedy for poison ivy when applied liberally from the bottle at full strength. Simply wash off with cool water.
These work for some but not all, myself included so my top method is the one that worked for me.
Household Bleach – This totally got rid of the poison ivy within two days.Just dab a little on the effected area. It didn’t sting, irritate or burn like some of the other remedies I’d tried. This is definitely the tops when it comes to home remedies for poison ivy.

Activities for the Non-active Person
Some of us for one reason or another feel that we cannot do sports or exercise so therefore cannot get fit and healthier, the majority of people who fall into this category are those who are very large. Very large people have to contend with physical aspects such as not being able to bend or move as freely as those carrying less weight and also have to contend with the mental side of feeling self-conscious when being active around others. Whatever your reasons there are always ways you can still be physically active and therefore get healthier and fitter, there are many benefits to being active including lowering your stress levels and improving your outlook, improves your heart and lungs and helps you to lose weight.
Getting started
If you have been inactive for a long time then it is very important that you take things really slowly at first and build up rather than rushing into a heavy routine straight away. Rushing into a heavy workout will do you more harm than good, remember that your body will need time to get used to your new routine and the exercise that you are expecting it to do. Warm up routines are also very important for anyone before you exercise, these can simply be marching slowly in place and stretching your muscles. Similarly you should always do a cooling down routine at the end of your exercise plan to cool down and relax your muscles to prevent aches and pains afterwards.
Forms of exercise suitable for the non-active person
Certain forms of exercise are more suited for those who haven’t been active in a long time and as mentioned before you should start slowly into any form of exercise routine and build up.
Walking
Walking is a great form of exercise which anyone can do and there is no special equipment needed, aim to take a walk for around 5 minutes a day to begin with then after a week try for around 10 minutes and slowly increase this over time or speed up the walking pace.
Water workouts
Water workouts are an excellent way to get fitter and healthier and increase your flexibility, your strength and reduce the risk of injury for those who haven’t exercised in a long time. There are two basic forms of water workouts, shallow water workouts and deep-water workouts both of which have different effects on your body. The shallow water workout can be done by those who cannot swim or are afraid of water and the deep-water workout will benefit and give the whole body a workout.
Stretching
Stretching can be done anywhere and requires no special equipment; yoga and tai-chi are two popular forms of stretching exercise that relaxes the body and mind and increase flexibility and improve the flow of blood.
Weight training
Weight training doesn’t have to be about lifting huge amounts of weights, lifting light weights can help to strengthen the muscles and bones. Weight training can be done at home or in the gym and if doing it a home then you can even use cans of soup as the weights.
Bicycling
There are special exercise bikes which you can use in your home or you can choose to bike outdoors, the home exercise bike is usually foldable and requires very little room to set up and use. Cycling is an excellent form of exercise for strengthening the leg muscles, back muscles and stomach muscles as well as improving the blood flow and your heart and lungs.
